We know what predictament DMX is in now. He fell off big time in his personal life and music career. So thats that. But we all know how ill he was when was in the prime of his career! I remember the 1st time i heard him was on Mase's 1st album on that "Niggaz Wanna Talk", he was on the hook. I was like ok. Then when I finally seen what he looked like on LL's "4321" track, i was like this man is a beast. When "Get At Me Dog" 1st came out, that had to be one of the hardest tracks i ever heard. It was real and raw. It was crazy. This tape was released around '99-'00. It features some of his early work and some ill freestyles. Please check this out, when i was NJ in 2000 alot people had this tape. I never would though he woulda fell off like he has, i couldnt fathom it.

Yeah DMX, the first time I heard this cat was on that track with Ja Rule Fata Hussain, LOX, Mic Geronimo, and I think a couple others he says " What's all the noise about have some respect shut the f*** up" don't know the rest but it was hard as hell for a collab,first time I heard Ja Rule as well, before the Holla Holla and Stop being Greedy days.They were hungry big time!!I think this track is on on of the Clueminatti tapes I believe it was 2 with the famous Canibus freestyle on it!!!One of my favorite Clue tapes!!!qqdr
Yeah that first collabo with geronimo and ja rule was insane he was the best by far
