This is what im talkin about right here, this is that real hip-hop shit right here. This is what we all came up on! For yall that dont know, The Tunnel was the hip-hop night spot in NYC. Every dope and prominent hip-hop MC from 1994-2001 performed there even some R&B acts (including Aaliyah!!) This was not a spot to get ur shine on and all of that, u had to keep ur 3rd eye on every minute u was there cause anything could pop off!! I never been there, but i heard endless stories about it! Funk Flex held it down every Sunday and kept things jumpin off all night! Im definetely coppin this DVD when it comes out, this will be an excellent addition for my vintage hip-hop collection! Legendary footage right here man!!

Producer Spotlight: The Neptunes
Back in 2000, Me and my friend was watching BET and Mystical's "Shake Ya Ass" video was on. And at this time that track was hot as a hot knife cuttin through butter! Also the word was gettin around about the Neptunes as one of the hottest producers out even tho they been around since '97. While we were watching that video, my friend made a statement saying that "the neptunes is gonna blow up watch, they gonna be the hottest producers for the next 5 years!" I was like ya right, they gonna be around for this year then blow over. Boy was I wrong on that 1, and trust me he reminds me of that every now and then. But from 2000-2003, they put out countless hits and gained massive exposure. Its kind of weird nowadays that u rarely even hear from them. Like after 2003, they been in and out of the spotlight to damn near extinct. So here's a couple of their joints that they did that might remind you of what they were, pay attention!
