Ladies Love Cool James

U know, LL is one of the few MC's to say that he literally did it all in the rap game. He had the women, He was and still is gettin money, Cars, sold out concerts and etc. He was one of Rap's 1st Individual superstars! He came before Rakim, KRS, Kane, Slick Rick and etc. He was able to stay relevent in hip-hop spanning over 20 years! U know how hard that is considering the many changes hip-hop has made over the years??!! Thats incredible! To me he should have retired right after the G.O.A.T LP, that would have been a great exit! Now did his last 3 LP's hurt him? Not really. Did they help any? Not really either, but his legacy is already set as one of the all-time greats. When ur career is already cemented u can afford any setbacks and still carry on. Thats why people like Jay, Nas & Busta can still do what they do cause their legacy is already set, they doin music now just for the love not cause to sell records. People sometimes forget how LL once ruled the rap game, fell off then regained it. Thats hard to do and he did that. So here's my dedication to him in this Mega-mix i created. Hope yall enjoy it, u can rock to this for days and not get tired of it. Its that Ill!! I dont do tracklistings and yall know that, so just go ahead and rock on!!

Nas & Raekwon's Fashion Education

Whats crazy is that i was gonna do a post on how emcee's dress game was flyer back in the golden era than it is now. Think about that for a second. Look at all the high end brands thats out there now, do u see any rappers dressin flyer than the usual? Not really. But go back to the 80's or 90's, niggas was on a whole 'nother level. Dapper dan suits, Polo, Coogi, Girbaud, Vanson's, 5001 Flavors....nah mean? Emcees back in the golden era always was dressed to empress. To me Grand Puba was the 1st elite nigga since i started gettin into hip-hop was fly on the dress tip. He was rockin Tommy Hill before anyone. Like he said "Girbaud hangin baggy, Tommy Hill be the top gear." Just was ill wit his. So to further educate u on how niggas was doin it back then, I present u Nas & Raekwon. 2 niggas that was partly responsible for the dress game to reach new heights in hip-hop. Take out ur pen & pad and take notes. Their will be a test on this...just joking!!! Naw Seriously....
