The Firm Live Performance '97

This is something i think i might do time to time is put up some classic vids that mean alot to me from the golden era! So be on the lookout when i put these up and if u have any comments on the vids state ur peace in the comments box below the vid!
This right here epitomizes everything that i love about the golden era, one of my fav. groups is the The Firm!! When Foxy brown 1st mentioned the group on the LL "I Shot Ya" joint, i knew big things was about to happen! And it did! When they came out, it was huge to me, cause all these emcees came together to form a supergroup! And many people wanted to be apart of it including Noreaga, Capone, Half a Mil, Mary J., Jay Z ( story to tell later on), Cormega (story to tell later on). And remember '97 was already poppin off with Biggie, Puff & Mase, Missy, CNN and etc. I remember DJ Clue playin many joints from them and they was like major exclusives! To this day i still wonder why everybody trashes their album, i dont understand. That album to me was dope! But thats just me. Well peep the video and tell me what u think? This is from the Keenan Ivory Wayans show which was on UPN late night at the time, i do remember a couple of shows of his!
Check It!!

Craig G- Fuc Tape #9

Haha!! What yall know about this tape!! Hey i love R&B too, but only '86-'01. To me, during that time span R&B was R&B. It was nothing like it!! Too many classics to name! Well Craig G as we all know back in the days had all bases covered! From Hip-Hop to Reggae to R&B, he had tapes for all genres!! This tape is from 1995, i dont have the tracklisting for this but cmon do u need one for this? Was there any wack R&B tracks out in '95? Umm.... I think not, so u know every song on here is bangin!! At least to me it is, and hopefully it is to u as well!! Mellow out people!!
*Props to Mike!

Marley Marl & Pete Rock Hot 97 Future Flavas

The most innovative radio show is back once more (no dis towards Stretch & Bob)! This show to my knowledge is from 1999. Please check that cause i might be wrong, but i think its from 1999. We all know that they play new exclusives on this show that not too many people heard of before, so it was always some type of anticipation before every show to see what was they gonna play. And always make sure u get ur tapes ready!!

DJ Juice- Vol.35 (this is not the tape shown below)

Sorry people, i had to use this pic, cause i dont have any pics of this DJ. But this is Vol.35, not the one shown above.

Ok, now i never heard any of this DJ's tapes until a couple of months ago. I was kinda skeptical cause i knew nothing about him but i read about him. So I gave this a listen, and his 1st impression on me was a good one! Its from 1997, and yall know how i feel about '97!! This is a very dynamic tape. His style is definetly on point. But his intro's are incredible!! Word on the street is that Green Lantern stole his intro style and copied it and tryin to say he started it! Hey i dont know, but i do read and investigate this stuff and that what i came up with up. But I did over the past few months received a few requests for this DJ, well wait no more here ya go!!
*Props to Todd!!

Kid Capri- Live 3/15/93

Its Kidddddddd Capri!!! Check my man out doin his thang live back in '93! Where? Thats a good question, i have no idea. But we all know that this man is legendary for his live shows. So no matter where its at, u know he's gonna tear it down!! Just enjoy the flava!!

Funkmaster Flex- Live On Hot 97 4/16/93

Its Flex doing his thang live on the radio on Hot 97. Listenin to this brings me back to when i used to sit in front of the radio and record music all the time. Cause back then the radio was playin hip-hop music! Now they play rap music. I hope u all recognize the difference. They only play hip-hop music on radio nowadays if the DJ is going into an old school set. Yall know what im talkin about. So check out Flex on the 1's & 2's playin real hip-hop music when it was played on the radio with regularity!

J.Armz- How To Be An MC Instrumental King: Scram Jones

Now i know most of u never heard of this producer, and i was kinda skeptical myself why J.Armz would choose him for a Instrumental King. But for a 3 year stretch, he was doin his thang. From '03-'05, he provided some bangers. The No, No, No joint for Jae Millz, the Yeah Yeah Yeah joint for Remy Martin and the He's Black Rob joint for the artist himself (my personal favorite). But the one that stood out to me was a joint he did for Mariah Carey, the beat was crazy and Saigon took that beat and flipped it into a song. Pure crazy!! The instrumental is on this CD. If u can please search for that Saigon track so u know what im talkin about.

Christopher Truth presents.... G.O.O.D Instrumentals Vol.1

Anytime Kanye is behind the boards, magic always happens. This tape showcases some of his work he did for artists on his label, this came out in '05!! Please dont sleep on this!

DJ Smooth Denali- Hip Hop Classics Special Edition Instrumentals

Now this tape is the epitome of classic hip-hop. There is nothin but classics on here. Now if u havent heard of any of these then u are not hip-hop. You got to at least hear the song with lyrics before you can hear the instrumental of any of these songs.. So please it is mandatory to get this tape!! School is in session!

http://rapidshare.com/files/152188053/sd_hhcse.rar.html

DJ Diggz & DJ Domination- D Block Instrumentals Vol.1

Dont really know nuthin about these DJ's, so cant tell ya nuthin about them. But we all know the Lox been flooding the mixtape game heavy in the past couple of years, and i know in the back of your head u wonder? Man that is hard beat, i wish i had the instrumental! Well, here u go. These 2 DJ's somehow was able to dig up those instrumentals and provide them to the masses. Im tellin these are very hard to find, damn near extinct. So please take advantage of this. Remember, none of these songs isnt on any album they were made strictly for mixtapes. So u can thank me later!!

Team Invasion: Green Lantern Instrumentals

If yall think Green Lantern is just a DJ, then u are clearly mistaken. This man is a pro behind the boards! He done joints for Jay Z, Nas, Ludacris and etc.! U better check his track record!! This tape came out in '04, check the his style!!
