Underground Instrumentals- Jay Dee aka. J-Dilla

Back in the days in my early phaze of hip-hop i didnt pay much attention to producers. I was just jammin the record and listenin to the lyrics. But as my education of hip-hop grew I started to become more knowledgeable. And the producers everybody knew was Primo, Pete Rock, Marley Marl, RZA, Erick Sermon, Dr.Dre, Large Pro, Beatminerz and etc (cant name them all people). But I didnt really know nothin about Jay Dee, even though I was jammin mad De La, Tribe & Common!! I didnt know until later on that hey, this man produced some of those records that they did. So a couple of years ago, i started doing research on him and listenin to some of his previous work and I was blown away. His production skills are so abstract, he would take a small part of a sample and grow it unto a great creation. For example the sample he used on De La's "Stakes is High" is only about 10-20 seconds long. He took that and looped it up and just took that into another world! His beats are just so melodic and breath of fresh air man. Im just ashamed that I didnt know much about him back then in the 90's, but i think i made up for it throughout the years. RIP my brother!!

DJ Fade- Just Blaze Instrumentals

Just Blaaaaaze!! Yall know his moniker, its well familiar. This man is a monster on the boards as we all know but people dont know that he's been with The ROC since like '99-'00. He did joints on Bleek & Jay's LP's during that time, but people still didnt know much about him. But his major breakthrough came on Jay's Blueprint album, thats when it all started coming around for him. For me he opened my eyes on Cam's "Oh Boy", because he said he did that beat as just a throw-away but when Cam heard it as he was going through his beats he selected that 1 and it became a huge hit. How many people can say that a record like that was just a throw-away record? Crazy. But he became a household name for me when I heard Freeway's "What We Do", man let me tell yall, when this record came out I was jammin this song at least 2-3x a day probably even more than that. During that time I wouldnt even go to work until I heard that song at least 1nce just to get my day started. Since then Just been doing it way big with some dope productions under his belt, havent heard much from him lately but yall know when he's in building when u hear: Just Blaaaaaaze!

Underground Instrumentals- Pete Rock

Cmon B, yall know who this is. Soul Brother #1!! I remember when I 1st heard "T.R.O.Y" in '92 back in the 5th grade, i was just mesmerized by the whole vibe man. Then when I heard "Straigten It Out", thats when it was on! From then on PR havent dissapointed me since, well I do wish him and C.L. never broken up but thats another story. But throughout the 90's this man provided so many classics its not even funny, I mean he was like the messiah of beats at the time. How many people u know that on their LP's they provide extra beats just to let u know that they have tons of heat!! Thats what PR was known for, just lettin people get a glimpse of what all he had. But one of my fav. images of PR is in the Nas "World Is Yours" video when he's on the piano singing the chorus, that to me just sticks out cause that is classic hip-hop in its purest form! Yall gonna make me shed a tear man, let me stop! Please enjoy this mega tape of PR beats he done throughout his career, many hard to find joints on here!! Enjoy and remember where u got it 1st: Recognize The Real!!

Underground Instrumentals- 9th Wonder

This man to me needs no introduction! To me, he's in the top 5 producers that's hot right now. Plus he's already in my top 10 all-time. This man productions are just mesmerizing to me. When I heard how he flipped that R.Kelly joint on Jay Z's Black Album, i was open. Then I heard a joint he did for Memphis Bleek "Its Alright" a short while after, after that i was hooked. So i made it a priority to do my homework on him and try to get as much of his stuff as possible, and i havent been dissapointed since. I told yall I dont listen to new hip-hop anymore but if i found out 9th did a new jawn im on the lookout for it. I have just about everything this man has done. And yes his version of Nas God's Son (God's Stepson) is better than Nas's orig. LP. If yall havent heard that, yall are trippin! So please listen to the outstanding work this man has done on this beat tape that was released in '05. As u can see on the pics there is 4 disc's, but i only posted disc's 1,2 &4. Disc 3 doesnt work, so please remember that. Im telling yall once again this man is a beast on the boards!

Khrysis- On The Boards With The Heat Vol.1

Yall are familiar with the group Little Brother right? Familiar with their affilation with Justus League out of NC right? If u do then that means u know ur hip-hop, but seriously we all know 9th Wonder does a majority of their beats. But also this man Khrysis is responsible for providing some heat as well. Im telling yall, most people are sleepin in this kid, but if u check the credits on some of those Little Brother LP's you will see that ur fav. song might be produced by him not 9th. So please wake up people and recognize good music when u can! This right here is his beat tape that came out in '05, and i was jammin this non-stop for a hot minute! The joint on here that I can jam forever is #11, that joint is just flawless!! But dont take my word for it, peep the whole style for urself.
Yes the mixtapes are coming, but i have to provide other types of goodies to the people that i have! Be patient!
