Chuck Chillout on 98.7 Kiss FM (1987) (Radio)
Here's another oldie but goodie gem! In '87 things was starting to change in the rap game, it was more about reppin where u came from and showing skills on the mic. That was when it was in its purest form! Lets take it back again for a sec.!

Chuck Chillout- 98.7 Kiss WRKS FM Mastermix (1986-87) (Radio)
I grew up in the era of which real hip-hop used to get played on the radio. In the 90's gutta hip-hop tracks was gettin played on the radio like it was nothing cause they were singles! Matter of fact they used to b played in clubs and people was dancing to it!! Thats right u read it! But it all started in the 80's, the radio DJs at that time had the responsibility to spread hip-hop all over the world cause all the others thought this was a fad and wasnt gonna last too long. It was them that opened the flood gate and we pay them all the respects for that. Its amazing tho that right in the beginning of the 2000's we lost sight of that and started playing tracks that labels wanted us to hear which was songs that were made to strictly for the radio. But i digress, lets take it back to '86-'87 and u can see what im talkin about!

Chubby Chubb- July 1994 (1994) (Mixtape)
Ok now we on to Chubby Chub, who i think made some dope tapes. Plus in someways he was a gatekeeper, why? Remember he was Original Flavor's DJ, also remember Jay Z was cool wit them dudes before he even was signed to a major. So Chubb had the privilege to have some unreleased Jay tracks that he put on his tapes. They were extremely rare and he was the only dude to have them.
So listen carefully kiddies!!!

BET: Notorious BIG on Rap City 1997 (Video)
At this time things was kinda settling down for BIG. He just came off a successful & challenging year in '96. That year, 'Pac was testing his limits, he had to worry about what Faith was doin and not to mention Lil Kim, other MC's was takin shots at him but his music was still on point and became he friends with his successor: Jay Z. So now its Feb. 1997 and things was kind of mellowing out. His new LP was beginning to drop and his life was kinda in order with a clear mind. Had big plans on the horizion... Commission LP, workin wit Puff on his 1st LP, supposed to do a verse on CNN's "TONY" Remix (yes, he heard the track before he passed) and many other business ventures. So BIG's future up to that point was bright as the sun. So here he is talkin to Joe Clair and they chat about what BIG just went thru and where's he was headed. I remember this episode like yesterday when it 1st aired, but i didnt record it then. But they re-aired this show 2 days after he passed in March of '97, and i taped it this time on the late show. Once again if there is any true hip-hop heads out there, yall should remember that back during the golden era Rap City used to come on twice a day during the week. One at 4pm and the other at like 9 or 10pm!! So if u missed the daytime one u can catch the night one, and that was butter back then!! I miss those days so much, well please check this vid and listen to what BI had to say!!

BET: Notorious BIG Tribute On Rap City 1999 (Video)
We gonna keep it on the BI side of things. This right here is a tribute Rap City did to Biggie back in March of 1999. Its mostly interviews from people that knew Biggie and some old Rap City interviews from Biggie. This to me was very well done cause this offers some tid bits of information that i didnt know of BIG. Also check out the gear people is rocking in this tribute which is mostly old Sean John gear. Sean John popped off in '99 and i was rockin that instantly and im still tryin to find a grey or black velour set that came out back then. If u go back check out some old Sean John ads from '99 u know what im talkin about. But once again i digress, so please check out the footage and learn!!

Notorious BIG- The Hits & Unreleased Pt. 1 (1999) (Mixtape)
I know what u thinkin, "hey what else that i dont have of Biggie?". Well trust me there is some unreleased stuff out there from him that still havent seen the day of light. And i think Puff has a part in that cause he still has stuff on Biggie that hasnt been out there yet like that Machine Gun Funk Remix wit Nas on it. But on this tape u get some hits and some rarities that i think most of u never heard. Trust me on that! Remember to always Think BIG!
